One Year

We define Oneyear all those programs, lasting for one year, that can be attended by themselves, or be part of a longer educational path, including the second and third year of our undergraduate programs, after having been accepted by IED.

BEFORE APPLYING

In order to be admitted to an IED Oneyear course, you need to verify the following admission requirements:

a. holding a high school diploma;
b. be 18 years old by 31/12/2011;
c. knowing the language of tuition of the program.

HOW TO ENROL

1. Admission process

To gain admission to the selected Oneyear course students must comply with the below procedure and send the following documents:

a. copy of the high school diploma, translated in Italian or English;
b. admission form, duly filled in and signed;
c. copy of the passport;
d. copy of a certificate of knowledge of the language of tuition (if not available, students will have to take an online interview);
e. letter of motivation explaining why would you like to attend a Oneyear program at IED, and why do you think this is an important step for your education.

After receiving all the required documents, IED will send the admission letter.

2. Enrolment

The above mentioned letter from IED completes the admission process, but it doesn't guarantee the access to the selected program.

In order to proceed with the enrolment into the selected program, it is required to:

a. Pay the enrolment fee.
b. Pay the tuition fee before the starting date of the selected program.

After receiving the enrolment fee, IED will send the enrolment certificate.

3. Timeline

In order to complete the enrolment, we advise you to respect the following deadlines (programs starting in January 2012):

- send the application form and the documents within October 2011.
- apply for a study visa within November 2011.

4. Refunds

IED can refund enrolment and tuition fees just in case of Visa refusal (it is compulsory to send a refusal letter).

AFTER THE ENROLMENT

Attend the course presentation. Before starting the official lessons, you will be invited to attend the presentation of your corse: during this meeting, you will be given all the specific information about your classes, you will receive some information material and will meet IED staff.

After all these steps, you will officially be an IED student, and you will be able to start your new experience!
